My poem “Dark Harvest” has been accepted for the Winter 2017 issue of Mirror Dance. “Dark Harvest” is part of The Sign of the Dragon, and is one of the poems that I added when making revisions this spring.

Oops! My poem “The Ark’s Daughters” has appeared in Eye to the Telescope #26 … over a month ago. I appear to have overlooked this happy fact when it occurred.

My poem “Irene” has been accepted by Uppagus; it’s a poem about my husband’s grandmother (who was wonderful).

I am still catching up after World Fantasy Convention. A few highlights: breakfast with my agent, Lisa Rodgers; getting to tell L. E. Modesitt, Jr. how much I love his books; hearing Carol Berg read; being a last-minute addition to the late night poetry-slam panel; getting to meet people I’d only known via email, including Charlie Finlay, Adrian Simmons and Jenny Blackford; witnessing Gordon van Gelder’s troasting (half-toasting, half-roasting).
