My poem Dragon Mountain has been published in the new issue of Heroic Fantasy Quarterly, my fifth poem from The Sign of the Dragon to appear there, and one of the longest of the King Xau poems.
My poem On Reading Le Guin is in the new issue of Uppagus. Ursula K. Le Guin was one of my very favorite authors, and I was very sad to hear of her death earlier this week.
An unexpected piece of good news: Neil Clarke emailed asking to reprint my short story “PauseTime” in Forever Magazine. Moreover he proved to be so efficient that I have already received both contract and payment! “Pausetime” first appeared in Spectrum SF.

My poem “How To Time Travel” has been accepted by Analog, my second poetry sale to them ๐ ๐ I’ve also sold them three short stories, one of which appeared back in 2003, and the other two of which should be published fairly soon.
My poem Camelot Cats has just been published as part of the Arthuriana issue of Eye to the Telescope ๐ It’s the opening poem in the issue.
My poem “Daunted,” first published in Dreams & Nightmares, has been nominated for this year’s Rhysling Award ๐ ๐ “Daunted” is one of the longer poems from The Sign of the Dragon, and features King Xau, Captain Li, and the dragon.
I just sold a poem to Asimov’s Science Fiction, my first sale to them ๐ ๐ For the record, they had rejected forty poems of mine over the past four and a half years. This is a happy day ๐ ๐ ๐
