I am very happy to report that my book Elemental Haiku has won second place in the full-length book category of the 2020 Elgin Awards 🙂 🙂

My poem “After Zhuangzi” has just been accepted for the forthcoming Cat People issue of Eye to the Telescope, edited by John Philip Johnson. It will be my twelfth poem to appear there 🙂

Soon I will be participating in C’monfluence, a virtual version of Pittsburgh’s Confluence convention, guest of honor Martha Wells. I’ll be giving a reading, plus I’m scheduled to be on four panels, and I’m doing a Kaffeeklatsch with Kelly Robson. The convention is free, though donations are welcomed.

Important note: you have to register for every panel, every reading, every Kaffeeklatsch that you wish to attend.

I received my contributor copies of the Sep/Oct 2020 issue of Asimov’s containing my poem “Cavall.” It’s a dog poem, and I am a cat person, but I’m fond of it nonetheless, and I am very happy it found such a good home.

My poem Dicing with the Devil has appeared online in Polu Texni, my fourth poem to appear there 🙂

I had an unexpected but welcome acceptance from Mobius: The Journal of Social Change, who will be publishing my poem “Why We Resist.”

I am very happy to report that my short story “The Boy Who Went to Mars” is in the current issue of Analog (September/October 2020). I believe it is my fifth short story to appear there 🙂

My poem Bedtime has just been reprinted in Instincts #9, an online publication for Asian SF/F poetry. The poem is part of The Sign of the Dragon and first appeared in Crowned: The Sign of the Dragon, Book 1.
