Fantasy & Science Fiction just accepted two of my poems!!! A double dose of happiness!
Two pieces of good news on the writing front. My poem Cherry Blossom 2050 is online in the new issue of NewMyths.com, my second appearance there, and my poem “How to Be a Star” has been accepted by Uppagus ๐
The cover art isn’t yet available, but my book Elemental Haiku, containing 119 haiku for the elements of the periodic table, plus illustrations and accompanying notes, can already be pre-ordered from Amazon. Yay! The book is due out in October from Ten Speed Press.
My science fiction short story “Let’s Pretend” has been accepted by Daily Science Fiction, my fifth story to find a home there ๐
My poem “Cherry Blossom 2050” has been accepted by NewMyths.com, my third poem to find a home there ๐ NewMyths.com is a poet-friendly publication. They pay comparatively well (thirty dollars per poem). Plus they reply within a few days to say which (if any) poems are being held for further consideration, freeing the author to resubmit the others.
I received contributor copies of the March/April 2019 issue of Fantasy & Science Fiction, containing my poem “In the Caverns of the Moon” ๐ This is my sixth poem to appear there ๐
My poem “How to Call Proxima Centauri” has been accepted by Star*Line ๐ It will be my forty-second poem to find a home there.
I am delighted to report that my poem “How to Fathom a Light-Year” has been accepted by Amazing Stories ๐
My poem “Alien Interview Questions”, first published in Dreams & Nightmares, has been nominated for this year’s Rhysling Award. ๐ ๐
