My poem “Between Battles” has been accepted by Heroic Fantasy Quarterly, my sixth poem from The Sign of the Dragon to find a home there 🙂

My poem Advice from an Elephant has been published at Songs of Eretz Poetry Review, accompanied by a very nice illustration of an elephant, painted by J. Artemus Gordon.

I am very, very happy to report that my poem Advice to a Six-Year-Old, first published in Star*Line, has won the 2018 Rhysling Award in the short poem category, and that my poem Alternate Genders, first published in Mithila Review, came third in the long poem category 🙂 🙂 🙂

My humorous poem Rules for Vacuuming has been published at Songs of Eretz Poetry Review 🙂

Triply-good news: Sheree Renée Thomas has accepted three of my poems for the Zodiac-themed issue of Apex Magazine that she is guest-editing 🙂

Two things to celebrate! I have a short-short story, “Extracts from the Captain’s Notes,” in the July/August 2018 issue of Analog, my third piece in Analog this year 🙂 And I have a poem, “Red Rising,” in the July/August 2018 issue of Fantasy & Science Fiction, my third poem in F&SF this year 🙂

My poem “Not for Sale” has been accepted by Asimov’s Science Fiction, my second sale to them 🙂 🙂 And in a second piece of happy news, my poem Gone has been published at Songs of Eretz Poetry Review 🙂

I am delighted to report that my fantasy story “Lord Serpent” has been accepted by Fireside Fiction 🙂 🙂

Two pieces of good news, both from Songs of Eretz Poetry Review. They published my poem Renunciation, an alternative take on the Arthurian legends, and they accepted my poem “New Color.”
