An unexpected piece of good news: Neil Clarke emailed asking to reprint my short story “PauseTime” in Forever Magazine. Moreover he proved to be so efficient that I have already received both contract and payment! “Pausetime” first appeared in Spectrum SF.
Again,” a King Xau poem, has been published in Dreams & Nightmares, my seventh poem to appear there.

My poem Camelot Cats has just been published as part of the Arthuriana issue of Eye to the Telescope π It’s the opening poem in the issue.
My poem “Daunted,” first published in Dreams & Nightmares, has been nominated for this year’s Rhysling Award π π “Daunted” is one of the longer poems from The Sign of the Dragon, and features King Xau, Captain Li, and the dragon.
I just sold a poem to Asimov’s Science Fiction, my first sale to them π π For the record, they had rejected forty poems of mine over the past four and a half years. This is a happy day π π π
Happy New Year! My poems “Treebound” and “Monster: Puppeteer” are in the new issue of Apex Magazine, and will appear online on January 12th and January 19th respectively. “Treebound” is a short stand-alone fantasy poem that I am fond of, and “Monster: Puppeteer” is one of the darker poems in The Sign of the Dragon.
My poem Dark Harvest has just been published in the Winter 2017 issue of Mirror Dance. “Dark Harvest” is one of the poems that I added into The Sign of the Dragon whilst making revisions this spring.
