Catching up after a family vacation: I am happy to report that I had four poems accepted and one poem published while I was away. My poems “Treebound” and “Monster: Puppeteer” will appear in Apex Magazine, “What War Is Like” will appear in Songs of Eretz Poetry Review, and “Lotus Moon” will appear in Mythic Delirium ๐ Of these, “Monster: Puppeteer” and “Lotus Moon” are both part of The Sign of the Dragon. My poem “The Travelers” was reprinted in issue #25 of Eye to the Telescope (the poem first appeared in the Magazine of Speculative Poetry). Lastly, I now have a Twitter account: @MarySoonLee.
My poem Not Like This, first published in Apex Magazine, has won 3rd place in the 2017 Rhysling Awards in the long poem category ๐ ๐
Also, my poem “Bespeaking: Riddles” is in the Summer 2017 issue of Star*Line. It’s a poem from The Sign of the Dragon featuring the dragon.

My poem “Dragon Mountain” has been accepted by Heroic Fantasy Quarterly ๐ It will be my fifth poem from The Sign of the Dragon to appear there. It’s a poem from the perspective of Li, captain of Xau’s guards, and also features both Xau and the dragon.
