I discovered that three poems from “Crowned” have been nominated for the 2016 Rhysling Award 🙂 🙂 The poems are “The Washerwoman’s Daughter,” which was later reprinted in Star*Line, “Dragonslayer,” which was later reprinted in Heroic Fantasy Quarterly, and “Training: Stances.” This means that a total of five poems in the book have been nominated for the Rhysling Award. (“Interregnum” won the 2014 Rhysling Award for best long poem and “The Matter of the Horses” was nominated for the 2015 Rhysling Award.)
